[Letter from Donna, Mars' widow]

Marsden came to Page Communications in 1961, a graduate of Georgia Tech.
I may not be able to tell you the technical names of the projects he
worked but he was in Gaum in the fall of 1961 until January 1962. He then
we went to Ankara, Turkey. I joined him there in August 1962 and we were
married there. Our son Marsden J. Maddox (Jake) was born there in May of
1964. We left Ankara in July 1964. Mars then went to Saigon, Viet Nam in
August 1964 where we joined him in September 1965. We left Saigon in
August 1966 and went to Taipei, Taiwan where Jake and I stayed while he
worked in Hong Kong. Mars returned to the states in August 1967 and
worked out of the building on Whitehurst Freeway (or something like that,
the building behind the original Page Building) and then out of the
facility in Vienna, VA. I'm not sure of the year and dates he was in Iran
but it was 1968 or 1969. I believe it was in 1971 that he returned to
Viet Nam. He left Page in 1973 or 74. Mars passed away on August 23,
1977.
We knew many wonderful Pageneers through those years and are still close
friends with many of them.
I hope you may be able to put his name in the Honor Roll of Deceased
Pageneers unless there is some other requirement that he does not meet.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Donna Bowling Maddox Aller
( also a former Page employee)
