Bob Carrick called me today (Saturday) to let me know that Bill died of an apparent heart attack on Friday. Viewing [was] at the Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax City, VA (703) 385-1110. Viewing [was]  Monday, April 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Service [was]  at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon

We all have great affection for Bill and will miss him a lot.

I saw Bill and Sue several times in recent years at the reunions at Mama's and enjoyed Chatting about our old Page and Telcom projects. I first worked with Bill in Ethiopia and then on the Libya coastal tropo rehab in 1967. We both had new brides there with us, living in 'caravans' at the sites. Dottie and Sue helped us with the work as we were completing the project under Earl Bauer. Dottie and I went to Madrid after that for a couple of weeks and visited the Oittinens and Bauers.

I regret that I will not be able to attend the service on Monday.
